There is no denying how much more comfortable life has become as a result of the application of science and technology. However, comfort is like riches in that it is ultimately deceitful and corruptive.

The ultimate purpose of science and technology was to provide the tools Satan needed (particularly computers and the Internet) to be able to track and control every person on earth. The increase of comfort as the technology was developed worked to lull many Christians into not only complacency but even advocacy, frequently claiming that the comforts we enjoyed were blessings from God.

The Industrial Revolution gave us mass production and using economies of scale brought prices for many items very low. However, the human price for these advantages was to make work a drudgery, reduce people to components in production machinery, and break up families by taking work out of the home. Fathers and mothers became caretakers for the brief period children would be in their care. Children no longer working with their parents as they grew would no longer benefit from the character building and development of understanding that such close association had always imparted in the past.

Advancing technology also would seem to give support to the Satanic alternative to the truth of man's condition (fallen in sin and in need of salvation). The alternative Satan concocted was that man was primordial in his origin and evolving upwards towards cosmic enlightenment by his own hand. The progression of technological development seemed to support this view.

What is called science was the inquiry into the mechanism of God's creation. This was hijacked by Satan to divorce God from his own creation and allow man to insert himself in the equation. As a result, inquires made into the nature of the universe had to be based on the assumption that there was no God. All 'discoveries' were to be aligned with this view or declared not scientific.
